Happy Birthday Natalie!

*I'm 2 days late.....her birthday was on Friday, February 6th*

I can't believe you are already 3 years old! Wow, I know I say this all the time, but time flies by so fast! I could write a book on all the cute stuff you do, but don't worry- I won't. I will just give a quick update on all things Natalie! You are so loving and LOVE your brother! It is so sweet to see the bond you both already have with each other. You are very compassionate and care about others. You love school, which you go to 3 days a week. You are very particular and want everything done a certain way... this makes for one tired momma! A particular plate, spoon, cup, etc.... I hope this phase will be over soon! Your favorite thing is to play to babies! You are such a good little mom!! Here are just a few other things you LOVE: bubbles, the color pink, swinging, candy, putting on make-up, talking on the phone, walks outside, playing with your friends, playing dress-up, Mommy's shoes, spending the night with Aunt Megan, anything princess, mountain dew, cookies and chips, new shoes/clothes, coloring, stickers, swimming at the pool, giving hugs and kisses, singing, and reading ! You are so much fun and ask SOOOO Many questions! You talk NON-STOP and have a great vocab! You are shy to people you don't know, but otherwise a social bug! You are very smart and memorize things very easily. You know tons of songs. There is never a dull moment with you! The things you say, keep Daddy and I on our toes! You repeat everything....a little funny... you will pick up the phone and hold it to your ear and say things like "O Lord, really?" ... mommy has to watch what she says.You don't eat much (27lbs) but aren't too picky and will try almost anything! You are wearing mostly 3T's but could still wear some 2T's. You love to be on the go and get out of the house... just like mom! :) You are so precious Natalie! We love you more than you will ever know! We are so proud of you!

First Tooth

Last night my mom was holding Rylan and all the sudden she started yelling at me to see why I haven't told her that Rylan had his first tooth. 1) I didn't know he had a tooth b/c it wasn't there this morning and 2) I didn't know it was such a big deal. What was I thinking? Everything is a big deal with my family. Everyone had to feel the tooth and were all so excited. Even Natalie was running through the house yelling my baby has tooth. Here a few pictures of him from the other day. He is such a happy baby.

6 Months

Rylan turned 6 months on January 17th. It is so hard to believe that he is half way to being 1 year old. It breaks my heart to think about it. I took him this morning for his 6 month check up. He weighed 16lbs. 11oz.- Dr. Whitaker thinks he lost the weight when he was sick. He is 27 5/8 inches long. They had to give him 5 shots and one vaccine that he had to drink which must have tasted terrible because he made the funniest face when they gave it to him. He handled the shots like a big boy. I was very surprised. He didn't start crying until the 3rd shot and stopped as soon as I picked him up. Dr. Whitaker said that he looked great and we don't have to go back until 9 months and no more shots until we go for his 1 year check up. Some other news about Rylan is he is the happiest baby you will ever meet. All this boy does is smile and laugh. He is so content you can sit him in the floor with his toys and he will be fine for at least an hour. That's is great because Natalie wouldn't sit still for 5 minutes. He will put himself to sleep when he is tired all we have to do is lay him down. He loves bath time and Natalie loves to help Daddy give him one. He sleeps all through the night and has been since 5 weeks. I can put him down at 8:00 and he is usually good until 7:00 the next morning( I know I am lucky- sometimes he even sleeps until 8:00) He is amazed by the TV. We just started putting him in the walker and he loves it. He figured out how to move around within 5 minutes. I was thinking it would have at least taken him a couple of days to get used to it. He loves baby food. He usually eats 2 jars at a time. That's enough fun stuff about Rylan. I will save the rest for another day because I could go one and one.

Pink Party!

This year I decided to ask Natalie what kind of party she wanted for her birthday and she is she quickly responded with a pink party. That's right we are having a pink 3rd birthday party for our little princess. If you have any ideas let me know. I've got the invitations and we are going to have a yummy strawberry cake from Edgar's. After that I am drawing a blank. I am probably just going to use solid plates, napkins, and silverware {pink of course} but if you have any ideas for some pink foods or drinks that we could serve let me know.
It is so hard to believe that my little princess is almost three!

Big Boy

Just look at how big my baby is. He weighs 17lbs and is only 5 months old. It is so wierd because Natalie only weighed 18lbs at 1 year.
